DISCLAIMER - BEAR RESISTANT vs BEAR PROOF and PRODUCT COLOR DISPLAY

All Bearicuda products that are sold for the use of deterring bears are considered Bear Resistant NOT Bear Proof. In many instances, we use the terminology “Bear Proof” and “Bear Resistant” interchangeably for search optimization allowing consumers to find Bearicuda Products on search engines. Where notated, Bearicuda products are IGBC certified and go through rigorous independent bear testing with a Grizzly Bear, yet all are designated as Bear Resistant by the IGBC (Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee) and Bearicuda, Inc as Bear Resistant not bear proof.

We cannot guarantee that a bear or any other animal will never penetrate or cause damage to any of our products. All Bearicuda Products designed for the intent to deter bears and are an effective deterrent against many types of animals. It is rare that a breach will occur but it is possible and breaches have happened. It is also possible that a bear or other animal types could cause damage to a Bearicuda product. This is a byproduct of having a 400 lb plus bear or other animals with sharp teeth trying to breach, chew and use extreme force to open a can or enclosure.

Though Bearicuda Bin™ trash cans have been rigorously tested, we cannot make with a 100% guarantee that a bear or any other animal will never penetrate any of our products. All animals are unpredictable and many (such as bears, squirrels, rats, mice and raccoons can be tenacious and have very sharp teeth).

Because this kind of damage can occur Bearicuda Bins, Inc will not refund or replace the product. Example, squirrels, rats, mice, raccoons because of the sharp teeth and after prolonged periods of time could potentially gnaw into the can where other larger animals cannot access. This is not common but must be noted. As always please contact us with any concerns or questions. NOTE: Do Not Order Any of our Wooden Enclosures If you need an Enclosure to Be Bear Resistant, Only Metal Enclosures will be an effective deterrent!

PRODUCT COLOR DISPLAY

We try to make sure that the photos of our items accurately reflect the actual color of the item in person. However, due to the differences in monitor and device settings (brightness, contrast, saturation, etc) there may be a slight to moderate difference in color between what is shown on the site and the final product.
