Returns and Warranties

RETURN POLICY

Before returning any product, contact a customer service representative at877-232-7428 to get a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This number must be placed on the outside of the returned package(s). Returns without an RMA number will be subject to a 25% restocking fee, providing the criteria below has been met.*

Customers have 30 days from the date of receipt to return standard (non-custom) products for a full refund or exchange, with a 25% restocking fee. Not all items are returnable such as metal enclosures, plastic dumpsters, wooden enclosures and other large items unless authorized. Customer is responsible to pay ALL shipping charges both To the customer from the original shipment and back to our facility.

Returns made after 30 days but within 45 days of the invoice date may be accepted at Bearicuda’s discretion and will be subject to a 25% restocking fee, provided the return meets all other requirements. No returns will be accepted after 45 days from the invoice date.

All parts must be returned in the original packaging, undamaged, and in re-sellable condition. Returns that are incomplete or missing components will be billed for any missing parts before credit is issued. Credit will only be issued after inspection and approval by our staff.

Our return policy does not apply to any custom or made-to-order products, including items with custom colors, logos, special modifications, or products manufactured outside of our standard offering.

All returns must be shipped freight prepaid—we do not accept any shipments sent C.O.D.

If an order is canceled after it has shipped, the customer is responsible for all freight charges and any applicable restocking fees. Canceling or returning an order that in the middle of it shipping customer will be billed for full freight costs to and from the shipping location.

DAMAGES

Customers are required to inspect all shipments at the time of delivery. Any visible shipping damage must be noted on the delivery slip before signing for the shipment.

All shipping damage claims must be reported to Bearicuda within five (5) business days of delivery. Failure to document visible damage at the time of delivery or to report concealed damage within this time frame may impact your ability to file a claim.

Please note that Bearicuda Inc will not be responsible for any charges incurred as a result of the customer hiring an outside service contractor to repair, alter, or inspect any of our products without prior written approval. Unauthorized third-party service charges will not be reimbursed.

SHORTAGES

All order shortages must be reported to Bearicuda within 1 business day of receipt.

This includes any missing parts, components, or hardware. We take order accuracy seriously and will promptly investigate and resolve any reported discrepancies. However, if shortages are not reported within the 1-day window, Bearicuda will not be responsible, and the customer will be required to purchase any missing items at their own expense.

To avoid issues, we strongly recommend carefully checking all contents against the packing list immediately upon receipt.

Return Requirements

  • RGA number must be obtained from customer service. RGA requests can be made up to 3 days from the date of purchase.
  • Product must be in original packaging. No discontinued or obsolete items will be accepted.
  • Customer pays freight charges to get the product to their place of business or residence and to return the product to our facility.
  • Bearicuda, Inc. reserves the right to refuse any return not in compliance with the above.
  • Special orders, cut or manufactured to specifications, all enclosures, which include but are not limited to the Aspen, Canterbury and Metal Enclosures, are not returnable once ordered and are in production.
  • All products on the packing slip must be inspected upon delivery and pick up at our offices. Take off the packaging material, inspect carefully for any damage upon transit. All damage should be documented and the product should be refused if you do not wish to keep the merchandise. The same day you receive the merchandise, call Bearicuda, Inc at 1-877-232-7428 to report the damaged goods.
  • Returns must be made within 2 days of receipt of merchandise.
  • We do not accept returns for any damages related to squirrels (all animals), customer damage, or any other animals that can chew through an item that is purchased, such as a container, wooden enclosure, strap or plastic.
  • All Customer pick-ups for any products at our facilities are the responsibility of the customer to inspect all products at the time of pick-up. Once the customer leaves our facility, the customer is responsible for any damage that may occur due to transportation and setup.
  • A 25% restocking fee applies to all orders and all products shipped and in production.
  • There are no returns on Cedar or Trash bins with the prefix ENC, BIN, SHD, LNT (No returns on any Bear Proof Metal Dumpsters)
  • All Wooden Enclosures with prefixes BIN, ENC, SHD, LNT are NOT guaranteed to keep out animals that chew and are not considered 100% animal proof, just animal resistant. These deter and in most cases keep out many types of animals but are not by any means a guarantee against penetration, especially animals that chew.
  • All Wood Enclosures have a 30-day warranty period from manufacturing defects; any defects must be reported within this time period. Bearicuda reserves the right to repair any product before any return is authorized. This includes but is not limited to all wooden enclosures with prefixes BIN, ENC, SHD, LNT, All Animal / Bear storage lockers and dumpsters and all Trash Cans.
